A fantastic opportunity to join HRN in our Parts team has arisen for the Stirling depot. This role will suit an experienced Parts Supervisor.

HRN are a family owned business that have been trading for over 40 years with multiple depots stretching from Stirling to Caithness, with ambitious plans for the future.

We are currently looking to recruit a Parts Supervisor.

Job Function:

As a Parts Supervisor you will be responsible for all aspects of the daily running of the Parts department. We require strong leadership skills to lead the department and to deliver high quality service to our valued customers. You will be required to coordinate and distribute the workload to ensure maximum parts sales, stock turns and profitability, whilst maintaining a commercial approach to stock quality.

Essential Duties:

  • Allocation of tasks to parts employees based on their expertise and skills ensuring maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all team members know and understand the departments mission, tasks and responsibilities.
  • Monitor part sales to ensure achievement of budgeted monthly sales and profit goals.
  • Identify and develop customer and sector opportunities to expand the parts business.
  • Participate and develop the execution of a Parts Marketing Plan.
  • Execute department and business processes, guidelines and policies consistently.
  • Maintain a good work ethic and organisation of the parts department and ensure surroundings are organised, clean and safe.
  • Contribute to the recruitment and staffing of the department whilst providing continuous development and training of current employees completing performance reviews of staff.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of being in a Parts Supervisor position or experience of 3 to 5 year’s within the parts business.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret internal reports.
  • Ability to review and implement new processes to ensure the efficient operation of the department
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
  • Willing to undergo any additional training.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends to suit business needs.
  • Computer literacy is essential for this role.
